You tell me

You tell me is a work of many sources. The project originated with remixing movie transcripts into nonsense poetry. The work has since gone through many other
permutations. It has currently evolved into my farewell to printed books. The poems are constructed by collecting underlined or highlighted passages of text from
books either in my personal collection, the collections of my acquaintances, or those accessed through public library systems. The important bits are then recombined
in some semblance of order. The notations one permanently makes onto a physical text become a sort of junk once the book re-enters the public space and begins
circulating again. Junk is just waiting to be used. A part of me will be sad to see it go.

THE NEVER-ENDING SOLO
All songs for this work were built from 39 unique sounds extracted from a broken guitar that I collected from a dumpster. I generated 60 tracks in total. THE NEVER-ENDING SOLO is ongoing with an open
invitation for contribution. Available for download on this page are the 39 source sounds used to build music for the project. In the spirit of a truly never-ending work, I encourage anyone interested to assemble
tracks and contribute back to the project. There is no criterion, no expectation. Two individuals have taken part so far. Their names are listed below. Download the sources. Audacity is a great open source audio editor

STRANGE, MUTANT FLORA
A work in multiple configurations composed of yarn salvaged from the trash. Thank the lord that my standards for success are so low. Also a bit of Swamp Thing in there. It's a plant for the Twenty-First Century.
